I created a few stained glass mosaics in the past. I'd glue them on boards and fill the cracks with grout. I'd be curious to know how long it takes to work on a piece like this? I'm guessing that one has to be more precise with shape angles prior to soldering?

I started this around the last week of November. And worked on it about 1-1.5 hours each day Mon-Fri. Yes on the precision quite a lot so actually. Having cut the glass as much as you can as close as you can to the pattern piece really cuts down on the time you spend grinding. The sharp turns such as the gun, where the thumb is located, the 90 degree angles, and the grey semi V shaped-ish pieces on the helmet too a special grinder, to get into those thing spots that a normal grinder can't get to.It also so happens that the clear pieces above the helmet, and clear pieces directly in contact with the shoulder broke at the points where the lead cane meets the border. But overall precision is must all the time.

I never had the chance to play with glass grinders. It sounds very time consuming!
